Job summary

Florida Tile, Inc. in Kent, WA is seeking an enthusiastic support specialist to assist the sales team both inside the branch and in the field. You will handle walk-in customers, process orders, answer phones, and help set up samples and displays.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Some travel within the territory and basic SAP proficiency are expected. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with basic software tools.
• Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn Florida Tile products and installation materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing customer orders in person and by email.
• Show initiative to become proficient in SAP.
• Keep sample area organized for the sales team.
• Greet customers entering the branch and answer calls.
• Assist in showroom upkeep and display setup.
• Occasional travel within the branch territory to place samples and displays.
• Participate in annual inventory activities.
• Notify management when samples are low.
• Other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting the inside and outside teams. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team environment. Who can assist the sales team both inside the branch as well as within the territory. Responsibilities include but are not sense to be limited to assisting walk in customers, entering orders, answering incoming phone calls, and setting up samples/displays at customer locations. They will be a vital part of assisting the team in meeting customer needs both inside and outside of the branch.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in processing customer orders both in person, and via email
• Show initiative to become proficient in SAP
• Ensure Sample area is organized and easily accessible for sales team
• Greet customers coming to the branch
• Answering calls
• Assist in keeping showroom neat and organized
• Ability to take direction, and execute tasks assigned
• Occasionally travel in the branch territory, to assist in placement of customer samples and displays
• Participating in annual inventory activities
• Notify branch management when samples are low
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• HS diploma
• Computer literacy
• Ability to complete assigned task with little supervision
• Show initiative to gain basic knowledge of FT products and installation materials
• Thrive in a team environment
• Ability to multi task
• Valid driver’s license and some travel within territory required
