Job summary

Stanion Wholesale Electric Co., Inc. in Kansas City, KS seeks a full-time Sales Support and Customer Service professional.

You will handle orders via counter, phone, email, and other channels, provide technical assistance, suggest substitute products, and ensure accurate, prompt order fulfillment. The role also manages quotations, product selection, delivery coordination, and supports inventory, vendor relations, marketing efforts, and training to align with branch goals.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Must be able to obtain forklift safety certificate after hire.
• Post-offer DOT physical required.
• Driver's license and driving record meet insurance requirements (KS Class-C, MO Class-E, OK Class-D).
• Must be able to lift 100 lb infrequently and 25 lb frequently.

Responsibilities

• Process and fulfill customer orders across in-person, phone, and email channels.
• Enter orders accurately into Company software and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Provide product or application recommendations and quotations to contractors and industrial customers.
• Coordinate delivery and support inventory management and vendor relations.
• Assist with branch marketing, promotions, and training to support sales goals.
• Serve as backup to the warehouse as needed.
