Job summary

Citi in New York is seeking an entry-level Universal Banker to assist with sales, product and service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The role aims to build customer loyalty and help increase sales to individual consumer clients.

You will help open accounts, process transactions, refer opportunities to partners, handle service issues, and participate in branch events. A High School diploma and 1–3 years in retail banking are required, and strong written and verbal

Responsibilities

Assist in basic account opening for existing customers.
Resolve account service issues for internal/external customers.
Execute financial transactions per bank policies and procedures.

Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve complaints promptly.
Support branch sales/service activities in seminars and promotional campaigns.
Maintain controls to ensure safety of assets and regulatory compliance.
Assess risk in decisions, safeguarding Citi's reputation and assets.
