Job summary

Grainger in Ogden, UT is hiring a Branch Sales Associate to connect with walk-in customers and drive sales while handling warehouse tasks. You will guide customers to product choices, enter orders accurately, pick and load products, and help with merchandising.

You will also perform inventory counts, learn Grainger’s computer systems, maintain a safe, clean showroom, and comply with PPE and safety guidelines. This role requires flexibility within branch hours.

Qualifications

• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, accurate order entry, safely picking product, and safely loading customer vehicle.
• Look for ways to maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style to differing audiences in email, over phone, or in person.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will call orders/shipping product.
• Prepare customer backorders and put away other stock received.
• Help with merchandising and perform showroom replenishment.
• Perform inventory counts and learn Grainger systems.
• Perform housekeeping to meet Grainger standards and wear PPE.
