Job summary

ChoiceOne Financial Services, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager for the Grand Rapids Market. The role leads daily branch operations, drives sales, and develops customer relationships across our full range of banking products and services.

You will coach staff, meet branch sales objectives, and ensure compliance with banking regulations, including BSA/Patriot Act. A Bachelor’s in business or equivalent sales experience with 3–5 years banking is required, plus an active NMLS license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business-related major or two years of successful sales experience in financial services preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years in banking or equivalent education; NMLS license is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations and sales activities.
• Review business plans with Branch Manager and help set goals.
• Lead, coach, and train staff to achieve branch sales and service objectives.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships, cross-sell bank products, and refer business to partners.
• Handle loan applications and assist with closings as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and banking regulations.
