Job summary

Grainger, a leading broad line distributor, is seeking a Branch Sales Associate (part-time, ~20+ hrs/wk) for the Pittsburgh area. The role focuses on providing solutions to walk-in customers, handling product selection, and processing orders while performing warehouse tasks.

Report to the Store Manager and support merchandising efforts. You will help maximize sales opportunities, adapt communication to various audiences, and maintain Grainger standards.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work part-time (~20 hrs/wk) and M-F.

Responsibilities

• Manage the customer experience end-to-end, including product selection and accurate order entry.
• Safely pick and load products for customers.
• Look for sales opportunities and build customer loyalty.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Perform inventory counts and basic warehouse tasks.
• Navigate computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and wear PPE.
