First Montana Bank is hiring an Assistant Branch Retail Manager in Butte, MT. This full-time role oversees daily branch operations, customer service delivery, and supervision of tellers and associates. You will balance cash, ensure compliance, and drive CARE cross-sell initiatives.

Responsibilities include account openings, cash handling procedures, and supporting the Branch Retail Manager. A strong background in banking and prior supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hold a High School Diploma or GED; 2-3 years related experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; banking experience strongly preferred.
• 1-2 years supervisory or management experience preferred.
• 3 years banking experience strongly preferred.
• Adequate knowledge of banking regulations and internal controls.
• Ability to obtain Notary Public certification.

Responsabilités

• Serve customers at a window or desk and process a variety of transactions.
• Balance cash drawers daily and maintain vault cash in dual control.
• Provide customer services including wire transfers, checks, and account changes.
• Close out accounts and assist with CARE program goals and cross-selling.
• Open new accounts with proper documentation and disclosures.
• Supervise branch staff in the Branch Retail Manager's absence.
