Job summary

RealtySouth is seeking a branch office manager to lead a team of sales and support staff. You will work with the Sales Manager to shape plans, recruit and train staff, and ensure profitability while upholding regulatory standards.

You will represent the office in community activities and serve as acting Sales Manager when needed. A broker license path and strong leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; or equivalent knowledge and work experience.
• Two plus years of real estate experience, including supervisory/management experience.
• Knowledge of real estate laws, ethics, and regulations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; detail oriented.
• Project management; prioritization of multiple tasks under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a branch real estate sales office; recruit, develop, direct, train and maintain an effective sales and support staff.
• Support the sales manager in recruiting, selecting, training and motivating sales associates and support staff.
• In partnership with the sales manager, develop programs and long-range objectives to improve profitability and growth.
• Track sales revenue, customers, accountability of sales staff, and market share.
• Provide working conditions, space, equipment and environment to maximize staff effectiveness.
• Actively participate in community activities and boards; represent the office publicly.
• May serve as Sales Manager in their absence.
