Spee Dee Delivery Service is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Illinois to support daily branch operations and lead drivers to ensure timely, safe, and efficient deliveries.

Responsibilities include coordinating routes, monitoring safety, training staff, and participating in weekly operations meetings. Requires 21+, high school diploma, CDL A within 90 days, and 1+ year leadership in transportation; starting wage $26–$30/hour plus OT and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in Business Management, Logistics or Operations preferred.
• CDL Class A license required or completed within 90 days of employment.
• 1+ years of leadership experience in transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily branch operations and lead drivers to ensure timely, safe delivery.
• Complete routes for absent employees and assist with morning duties.
• Monitor safety, DOT and company policies compliance.
• Track daily department reports and communicate issues to leadership.
• Assist in training and onboarding of new staff and participate in weekly operations meetings.
