Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred in Business/Logistics/Operations or related field.
• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license or complete company training within 90 days.
• 1+ year of transportation industry experience and leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily branch operations and lead drivers to ensure timely, safe, and efficient operations.
• Complete routes for employees who are absent.
• Assist with daily morning duties like sorting freight and loading trucks.
• Help track and update daily department reports.
• Assist with monitoring safety, DOT, and company policies compliance.
• Monitor freight flow and route performance; escalate issues to leadership.
• Recommend measures to improve productivity, equipment performance, and customer service.
• Participate in weekly operational meetings.
• Provide feedback on performance evaluations, attendance or safety concerns.
• Assist in training and onboarding of new staff.
