Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. in Marshall, MN seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to support daily branch operations and lead drivers to ensure timely, safe, and efficient delivery. You will help with routing coverage, onboarding, and daily reporting while upholding safety and DOT policies.

The role requires strong management and communication skills, a CDL, and the ability to travel as needed. Starting wage is $26.00–$30.00 per hour, with OT opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree in Business Management, Logistics or Operations Management or related field preferred.
• Must hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license or complete company paid CDL training program within 90 days of employment.
• 1+ years of experience in the transportation industry and leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily branch operations and guide drivers.
• Complete routes for absent employees.
• Assist with loading, sorting freight and morning duties.
• Track daily department reports and performance.
• Monitor safety, DOT compliance and company policies.
• Enhance productivity and customer service improvements.
• Participate in weekly operational meetings.
• Provide feedback on performance and safety concerns.
• Assist in training and onboarding of new staff.
• Travel may be required.
