Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service in Minnesota seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to support daily branch operations and lead drivers in safety and efficiency. You will manage routes, assist with morning duties, track department reports, and help implement productivity improvements.

Travel may be required; overtime and continuous safety compliance are part of the role. Starting wage is $26.00–$30.00 per hour based on experience, with paid overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lead and motivate a high-performing team.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of safety policies (federal, state, local).
• Experience in transportation or logistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily branch operations and lead drivers to ensure timely and safe deliveries.
• Complete routes for absent employees and assist with morning duties.
• Monitor reports and track performance; escalate issues to leadership.
• Help implement measures to improve productivity and service.
• Participate in weekly operational meetings and train new staff.
