Job summary

Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. seeks a Branch Operations Specialist for its Saddlebrook or Florham Park, NJ offices. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and independent work alongside the Branch Manager.

The candidate will support day-to-day operations, client onboarding, document processing, audits, and home office communications. FINRA SIE and Series 99 are required within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Regulatory FINRA SIE and Series 99 within 6 months of hire.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and search tools to find information.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining day-to-day operations to ensure operational excellence.
• Support client onboarding process.
• Maintain and process documents.
• Assist with audit preparations.
• Communicate effectively with home office personnel.
• Interact with branch staff and all levels of management.
• Handle routine/sensitive matters.
• Ensure documents are sent to home office in a timely manner.
• Cross-training within other Operations roles; take on additional tasks as needed.
