Job Summary

The Branch Manager oversees the operations and performance of a designated branch within a solar energy company. Responsibilities include managing staff, driving growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of service and safety. The Solar Branch Manager collaborates with regional management to develop strategies, optimize processes, and meet business goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency and policy adherence.
• Manage financial and operational results for the New Install Projects, including KPIs.
• Identify ways to reduce costs, minimize risks, or increase installation efficiency.
• Ensure quality of installations and services meet customer expectations and standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulations related to solar energy and business operations.
• Manage inventory levels and equipment/material availability.
• Use CRM systems (Podio) to update project status and ensure accurate reporting.
• Review project photos for quality and completeness.
• Monitor pipeline for problematic or special attention jobs.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and personnel needs for residential solar projects.
• Coordinate or schedule inspections for solar installations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Experience installing residential solar as a lead or crew member.
• 3+ years of solar experience, with 4+ years of team management experience.
• At least 2 years of related experience (roofing, electrical, or construction).
• Strong leadership, communication, and attention to detail.
• Ability to create and implement organized processes and systems.
• Certified OSHA/OSHA10/30 preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office.
• Experience managing customer accounts and opportunities in CRM.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring of solar systems (AC & DC).
• Ability to read and interpret job orders, blueprints, CAD drawings, etc.
• Self-motivated with multitasking ability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must pass pre-employment screening (valid Driver's License and clean MVR required).

• Safety scores and site cleanliness.
