Job summary

Gregory Poole Equipment Company is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to plan and manage branch operations for efficient rental activities and profitability. You will lead the Rental Development Program and train the next generation of GP Rental Associates while enhancing customer relations.

Key duties include coordinating rental, hauling, and service, developing budgets, and serving as a liaison across departments for pricing, availability, and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with 3+ years of service industry experience and 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Or an associate’s degree with five years service industry experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop and drive routinely.
• PC experience with Windows Office, especially Excel, Word and MS Outlook; excellent customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage branch operations to ensure profitable rental activities.
• Provide effective customer relations activities to enhance continuing services use.
• Lead the Rental Development Program and train the next generation of GP Rental Associates.
• Provides management for rental, hauling, and rental service and monitors goals and performance.
• Develops annual rental budgets and oversees reporting and financial stewardship.
• Meet with customers to discuss, negotiate, and close rental/sales opportunities.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and inventory for rental fleet.
• Oversee invoicing, billing, and credit applications.
• Provide daily leadership for direct report associates including coaching, performance reviews, and development.
