The Senior Operations Leader will be responsible for managing all branch-level operations and sales activity for a location generating $10M+ in annual revenue. This includes oversight of service delivery, staff and contractor performance, financial results, and customer satisfaction across core service lines.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Financial Leadership
- Own full P&L responsibility, including revenue growth, margin performance, EBITDA targets, billing accuracy, and cost control
- Manage work-in-progress, invoicing, lien waivers, subcontractor payments, and backlog visibility
- Ensure safe, timely, and high-quality execution across all service lines
Team & Culture Development
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing managers, supervisors, and field teams
- Establish clear performance expectations and foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
- Lead and coordinate both internal teams and independent contractors
Client & Business Growth
- Serve as a senior point of contact for key clients, maintaining strong relationships and driving retention
- Address service issues proactively and ensure consistent client satisfaction
- Partner with sales leadership to support proposals, expand services, and identify new growth opportunities
Process & Performance Improvement
- Implement operational best practices, process improvements, and technology initiatives
- Drive productivity, quality, and efficiency across all branch and satellite operations
Qualifications & Experience
- Leadership Experience: 10+ years leading branch or multi-department operations with full financial accountability
- Industry Background: 7+ years in construction, renovation, painting, restoration, or another high-volume, transactional service environment
- Financial Expertise: Proven success managing P&L, budgets, and operational financial metrics
- Project Oversight: Experience leading large-scale projects and teams with strong attention to timelines and quality
- Client-Facing Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Sales & Growth Mindset: Comfortable supporting business development and proposal efforts
- People Leadership: Experience managing managers, project leaders, and field supervisors
- Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to new systems
- Language Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Mobility: Valid driver’s license with regular local travel
Compensation & Work Structure
- Competitive base salary starting at $130,000+
