Job summary

Stewart Title is seeking an experienced leader to directly engage in field operations outside of core Escrow and Title Operations, guiding a branch or department to operate profitably while ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will supervise multiple teams, align branch goals with company strategy, and provide governance to achieve annual plans. This role requires a strong track record in operations leadership and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.
• Typically requires 8+ years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of field operations and branch profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for issues and lead day-to-day activities of staff.
• Align branch goals with business unit strategy and monitor metrics to guide leadership decisions.
• Provide leadership to managers, supervisors, and individual contributors within multiple teams.
• Develop departmental plans and allocate resources to support annual objectives.
• Identify and solve complex operational and organizational problems using available resources.

Directly engages in field operations outside of core Escrow and Title Operations; also, includes various leadership roles that support the overall strategy and execution of field-based operations. Responsible for the efficient operation, profitability, supervision of a specific branch(es) or department(s) while assuring customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the efficient operation, profitability, supervision of a specific branch(es) or department(s) while assuring customer satisfaction
• Seen as the individual in charge and serves as the go-to person for a variety of issues needing escalation
• Supervises the day-to-day activities of employees responsible for operational tasks
• Aligns branch goals with business unit goals by monitoring branch metrics and providing recommendations to leadership for change based on branch results
• Provides leadership to managers, supervisors and/or individual contributors
• Accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teams
• Develops departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities
• Decisions are guided by resource availability and Stewart objectives
• Applies knowledge of key business drivers and the factors that maximize department performance
• Guided by functional or regional business plans, impacts the department results by supporting and funding of projects, products, services and/or technologies Identifies and solves complex, operational and organizational problems leveraging resources within or outside the department
• Persuades managers and leaders to take action and/or negotiates with external partners/vendors/customers
• Manages multiple related teams, sets departmental priorities and allocates resources to align with business objectives and annual plan

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred

Pay Range & Benefits

$70,585.40 - $117,642.34 Annually

The base salary range provided is consistent with similar roles at the Company. The base salary range is not an absolute, but a guide, and actual offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, education, experience, location, market conditions, and other compensation components. Depending upon all of the preceding considerations, the base salary may be lower or higher than the stated range.
