Job summary

Acme Barricades is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) to learn all aspects of branch operations under supervision from managers and executives. The role develops future leaders by rotating through branches and divisions, covering sales, budgets, staffing, and day-to-day management.

Applicants should be prepared for possible relocation and must be willing to learn every role in the branch to contribute to profitable outcomes for the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Computer skills include Excel and Word.
• Minimum 3 years in assistant management of a service, warehouse or construction branch.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all branch operations and use of physical resources.
• Manage upkeep and condition of equipment, plant and fixtures.
• Liaise with suppliers and partners; recruit, train and develop staff.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing and tactics; assist with advertising strategies.
• Oversee branch costs, budgets, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
