Border States in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to lead operational functions, manage expenses, and contribute to budgeting. This role will resolve SAP issues, monitor budgets, and oversee purchasing, inventory, and pricing activities.

The position emphasizes leadership, customer service excellence, and coordination with sales to implement marketing plans and programs. You will work in a 100% employee-owned environment, driving operational efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-year business/trade degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years supervisory experience with a minimum of 4 years' customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Technical ability to understand electrical systems with a minimum of 3-years electrical distribution experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical products and systems preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational functions within the branch and manage expenses.
• Resolve SAP issues and ensure required checklists are completed timely.
• Oversee inventory modifications and annual inventory process.
• Provide leadership for branch purchasing, product evaluations, pricing development, and related functions.
• Coordinate with corporate staff on equipment changes and upgrades.
• Provide oversight of warehouse and delivery operations.
• Support vendor managed inventory (VMI) and related services.
