Job summary

Total Safety is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee a designated location across safety and compliance services. You will manage HR, assets, budgets, supplier relations, and the service team to drive profitability and customer satisfaction while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

This role requires strategic leadership and travel to Houston and other corporate locations as needed. Engineering or technical education is preferred, with at least five years in operations within the

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of operations experience in the petrochemical or industrial safety equipment industry.
• Proven record of operations and management in an upstream or downstream service environment, including turnaround projects.
• Strategic thinker with analytical, organizational, and observational skills.
• Leader of people and processes; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Customer service emphasis and willingness to support the sales team.
• Understands basic financial data and can learn Rental Man.
• Basic financial accounting knowledge; proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Regular travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight of designated location including HR, asset management, collaboration with sales, daily efficiency, and profitability.
• Set expectations and standards for customer service, operational readiness, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, training, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with monthly revenue and expense forecasting.
• Hire, place, terminate, and supervise management and staff at the location.
• Develop and implement performance evaluations for the service center staff.
• Direct use of company resources to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Manage budgets and asset availability; coordinate asset purchases as needed.
• Oversee assets and commodities including rental equipment and shop activities.
