Job summary

Alabama ONE Credit Union in Tuscaloosa is seeking a Market Manager to direct operations at the full-service branch and lead the retail and platform teams, delivering excellent member service aligned with our Pillars.

You will coach staff, manage daily processes, and assess lending needs as the principal loan officer while driving business development through Small Business and new client acquisition. This role requires strong communication and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in financial services or customer-facing roles.
• Effective communicator with teamwork skills.
• Proven ability to manage staff and drive performance.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic financial software.
• Knowledge of Alabama One products is a plus; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily branch operations and lead retail and platform teams.
• Set goals, monitor metrics, and provide feedback to drive performance.
• Advise Members on lending needs and decisions per guidelines.
• Develop sales leads and cross-sell products to grow branch revenue.
• Foster member retention and build relationships with existing and new Members.
• Represent Alabama ONE in civic and community activities.
• Ensure cash controls and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Oversee branch maintenance and security.
• Engage in ongoing training and staff development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
