Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to drive customer satisfaction and lead engineering, project execution, and service teams across multiple locations in the fire and life safety industry.

This role requires 5–10 years of relevant experience, strong leadership, and the ability to travel overnight. You will develop regional processes, oversee budgets, and report to the executive team as part of a vibrant national organization.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years’ experience in an operations manager role in fire and life safety.
• Ability to communicate with leadership, regional staff, contractors, customers and vendors.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of fire and life safety systems.
• Willingness to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety culture and safety initiative compliance.
• Support regional solutions, engineering, project management, and service departments.
• Oversee budget and achieve revenue and gross margin targets.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, subcontractors to meet market potential.
• Conduct pre-bid reviews with Division management and regional leadership.
• Develop and implement regional processes to drive results.
• Oversee training program for regional project managers.
• Monitor monthly project cost and WIP analysis for divisions.
• Report financial information to senior executives and take corrective action.
• Foster a high-performance culture at the division level.
• Support manpower planning and allocation.
• Develop strong operational leadership at divisions.
