Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across multiple locations in the fire and life safety space. You will lead divisions, oversee budgets, and foster a high-performance culture while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

The role requires 5-10 years of operations leadership, excellent communication with leadership, staff, contractors and clients, and travel as needed within a national organization.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years’ experience in an operations manager role within the fire and life safety industry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with leadership, regional staff, contractors, customers, and vendors.
• Strong team-building and leadership abilities.
• Deep knowledge of fire and life safety systems.
• Strong understanding of profit and loss statements and financial drivers.
• Willingness to travel overnight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure associates embrace Sciens safety culture and comply with safety initiatives.
• Support regional solutions, engineering, project management, and service departments for the assigned Divisions.
• Oversee budget and meet revenue and gross margin targets for assigned Divisions.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to execute plans and processes.
• Conduct pre-bid reviews with Division management and regional leadership for large-scale projects.
• Develop and implement consistent regional processes to drive results and oversee PM training.
• Monitor monthly project cost and WIP analysis for the assigned Division.
• Report financial information to senior executives and take corrective action as needed.
• Drive a high-performance culture at the Division level.
• Support manpower planning and allocation for assigned Divisions.
• Develop strong operational leadership at assigned Divisions.
