Job summary

Dakota Supply Group is seeking an Operations Manager for Kalispell and Missoula, MT. This full-time, on-site position supports branch processes and customer responsiveness, reporting to the ROM. Typical hours are 7am–5pm, Mon–Fri, with leadership responsibilities in all branch operations.

You'll oversee pricing, rebates, vendor returns, inventory performance, and staff supervision while driving process improvements and ensuring a professional environment for customers and employees alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; college degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in distribution or related field.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data and solve problems.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update pricing profiles and contracts.
• Manage the supplier rebate process.
• Manage the vendor return process.
• Submit inventory credits and freight claim credits.
• Review and maintain customer open orders to meet needs.
• Follow up with sales on open orders and backorders.
• Identify cost savings and drive profit improvements.
• Oversee inventory performance and ABC analysis.
• Supervise branch staff and manage customer/visitor experience.
• Coordinate maintenance, office tasks, and communications.
• Ensure security, cleanliness, and professional environment.
