Job summary

White Cap is hiring an Assistant Branch Manager in Colorado to lead branch sales and operations, driving profitability and delivering strong customer service. The role requires 5+ years of leadership experience and familiarity with construction supply environments.

The position reports to the Branch Manager, involves coordinating procurement, inventory and shipping, and may require vehicle operation with occasional MVR checks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of branch management or leadership experience.
• Experience in construction supply or industrial distribution.
• Knowledge of inventory control, order fulfillment, and warehousing.
• Ability to resolve customer issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with ERP or order management systems (Oracle preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support the talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch sales and operations staff.
• Manage the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence and help drive sales and profitability.
• Coordinate procurement, inventory control, shipping/receiving, warehousing, and sales per policies.
• Resolve branch-level problems, investigate inventory discrepancies, and adjust as needed.
• Serve customers, support counter/inside sales, ensure orders are billed timely.
• Schedule staff and analyze budgets and variances.
• Operate a company or personal vehicle as required; MVR check.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
