Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking an Operations Manager for our Fredericksburg, VA branch. This full-time role drives daily operations, ensures safety compliance, and leads a team to deliver high-quality street sweeping and environmental services.

You will oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance, while coordinating with support departments to maintain service levels, profitability, and client satisfaction in a fast-paced field environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year operations experience – waste management or driver operations a plus
• Management: No experience managing teams required – 1 year preferred
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent – bachelor’s degree preferred
• Support: Must be available to respond to staffing or operational needs outside standard work hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team with clarity, confidence, and accountability.
• Promote safety, inclusivity, and performance-driven culture.
• Plan and schedule work weekly or monthly using routing tools to meet demand.
• Manage branch profit and loss and monitor KPIs like revenue and costs.
• Partner with sales to identify growth opportunities and support retention.
