Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking an Operations Manager in Jacksonville, FL to support the Branch Manager in planning and executing day-to-day branch operations, including scheduling staff, procuring/maintaining rental equipment, and ensuring essential documentation for billing. You will oversee all physical branch operations, supervise field personnel, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• 3+ years direct supervisory experience, preferably in a project/branch management role.
• Knowledge of trucking regulations (DMV/DOT) and water handling equipment required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager with all aspects of Branch operations.
• Supervise branch field and operations personnel to meet customer satisfaction.
• Accurate, timely communication with customers and staff.
• Ensure rental equipment is repaired, maintained, and registered as needed.
• Maintain vehicle and rolling stock maintenance per regulations.
• Coordinate interbranch equipment movement as directed.
• Monitor branch expenses and provide variance reports on budget.
• Track and report billable hours for accurate billing.
• Maintain branch computer systems and train staff on usage.
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE are followed.
• Provide training opportunities for staff and ensure proper training before work.
• Perform branch audits as SOP dictates.
• Keep the branch and yard clean and orderly.
