Wintrust Financial Corporation is seeking a Teller Services Coordinator in Buffalo Grove, IL to supervise branch operations and deliver exceptional service. You will guide staff, ensure accurate teller procedures, and uphold security and policy standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, cross-sell opportunities, and community involvement, with an onsite schedule and competitive hourly pay. Prior teller experience and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous teller experience required.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Travel between branches may be necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently run all operational procedures within the branch, including dual control adherence.
• Keep the branch team informed of policy and procedure changes pertaining to teller operations; may require partnering with Branch Operations Support.
• Lead by example by operating a teller drawer to serve customers in lobby or drive-thru.
• Ensure team members comply with all bank and regulatory policies and procedures to maintain security and mitigate losses.
• Promote and foster exceptional service to ensure best in class customer service.
• Recognize cross-sell opportunities and refer customers to appropriate bank personnel.
• Participate in community events, as needed.
