Job summary

QXO is seeking an experienced operations leader to step in as branch manager when needed, overseeing daily store and warehouse activities in Taylor, MI. You will champion safety, manage audits, optimize layouts, schedule staff, and uphold a customer-centric service standard.

Ideal candidates have an AA or equivalent, supervisory experience in building materials, and optional Spanish; you will lead teams, improve efficiency, and support training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year college equivalent required.
• Experience supervising teams in building materials or related industry preferred.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus.
• Demonstrated commitment to learning and dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assume branch manager responsibilities in manager's absence.
• Champion a safety-oriented culture and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with audit procedures and daily cash handling and accounting.
• Optimize warehouse and store layout for efficiency and schedule equipment maintenance.
• Create and update work schedules; review and approve hours worked by employees.
• Provide training and support to all branch employees, fostering customer-centric service.
