Job summary

QXO in Raleigh, NC, seeks a results-oriented leader to oversee a profit center, manage operations, and drive growth in building products sales and services.

You will recruit and train the sales team, collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, and work with the Branch Credit Manager to maintain financial stability and strong vendor relationships. A safety-first culture will be a priority in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1–2 years' related experience and/or training.
• Prior leadership in industry.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Refined leadership skills, including managerial and supervisory experience.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and team.
• Organizational and time management skills, including prioritization and delegation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of a profit center, including operations and administration.
• Recruit, train, and lead the sales team, and work cross functionally with other departments.
• Make strategic decisions based on trend analysis to identify profitable business opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with the Branch Credit Manager to establish an appropriate account base and ensure financial stability.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships, leveraging manufacturer information to market products and services.
• Foster a positive work environment and develop future leaders.
• Champion a safety-oriented culture within the organization, ensuring that all employees comprehend and strictly follow safety protocol and procedures.
