Job summary

SRS Building Products - Greenville is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in achieving operational excellence, revenue goals, and customer satisfaction. This hybrid role involves supervising staff, optimizing warehouse activities, and driving safety and efficiency across the branch.

You will help lead a diverse team, monitor KPIs, and implement process improvements while collaborating with sales and operations to meet targets and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years experience in a warehouse, distribution, or supervisory/assistant management role.
• Prior experience in building materials, roofing, or related industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass criminal background and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager in implementing company standards and optimizing warehouse and branch operations.
• Assist in achieving branch revenue and profitability targets by monitoring financial metrics and sales strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop branch staff, including warehouse personnel, drivers, and inside sales teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Collaborate on strategic planning and report branch performance, staffing and inventory metrics.
• Ensure adherence to safety, policies, and operational procedures in a fast-paced environment.
