Dime Community Bank, headquartered in Hauppauge, NY, is seeking a Branch & Private Banking Operations Specialist to support the Branch Operations team and Private Banking network. The role focuses on IRA processing, compliance with banking regulations, and document control within an in-office setting.

The candidate will collaborate with the Business Process Manager and IT tools to improve procedures, train staff, and ensure accurate, timely processing across accounts and transfers.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years banking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IRA rules and banking regulations.
• Strong time management and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsabilités

• Review all IRA transactions to ensure accurate documentation.
• Support branch and Private Banking network in establishing new accounts, withdrawals, RMDs, closeout and transfers for IRA portfolio.
• Oversee and review branch and Private Banking compliance with regulatory requirements (BSA, CIP, Reg D, Reg CC, Reg DD).
• Assist Business Process Manager and Integrated Teller applications to support branch and Private Banking network.
• Monitor Service Desk ticketing system and provide product knowledge assistance.
• Write and modify branch procedures to improve instructions and efficiencies across the network.
• Serve as a resource for branches and departments to resolve operational problems and identify recurring issues.
• Perform File Maintenance reviews for Branch Operations staff.
• Serve as central contact for new consumer and business accounts and ensure proper document handling in Director.
• Support Year-End reporting, IRA monitoring, Sox testing, and QA/Audits.
• Assist Digital Banking support for online account opening and daily attestations.
