Job summary

Academy Bank is seeking a Branch Operations Support Specialist I to perform foundational deposit operations support, including review and maintenance of accounts, documentation handling, and service support. You will use AI and RPA tools to improve processes while meeting KPIs for accuracy and productivity.

The role includes providing timely assistance via phone, chat, and email, while protecting client information and complying with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in banking, operations, records management, data-entry, or client-support preferred.
• Experience with business software, document management, workflow, AI, RPA, or other automation tools preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial account checkback for deposits; verify setup, required docs, signer info, and control steps.
• Scan, classify, index, and retain account documentation using standards.
• Complete routine account maintenance, data entry, deposit scanning, and branch cash-audit tracking.
• Provide timely support via phone, chat, and email; escalate complex matters.
• Use approved AI, RPA, workflow tools; validate outputs and report failures.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying repetitive work and recommending improvements.
• Meet KPIs for quality, accuracy, productivity, and turnaround time.
• Protect client and bank information; comply with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify documentation deficiencies and potential risks; escalate per procedures.
• Complete monthly training on bank regulatory requirements.
