Job summary

Blossman Gas & Appliance in Foley, AL is hiring a Branch Office Specialist to be the first contact for customers in our growing retail location. You will answer phones, perform administrative tasks, assist with loading propane tanks, and support service technicians on job sites while promoting Blossman’s appliances and services.

The role blends customer care, computer work, and light mechanical duties in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college or earned degree helpful
• Professional, friendly demeanor
• Ability to work regularly in a fast-paced, retail setting
• Solid computer skills and the ability to learn new software
• Reliable; solid work ethic; team-oriented
• Physically capable of regularly lifting, unassisted, 50 lbs.
• Seek an entry-level position that blends regular physical work during the day, including at job sites, with work inside a showroom setting
• Desire to work M-F from 8-5 with occasional overtime particularly ahead of and during our peak winter demand time of year
• Pass pre-employment background check, drug screening, and other pre-employment steps

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and perform administrative tasks by computer
• Load/unload propane tanks for customers and assist on job sites
• Promote/sell Blossman’s core line of appliances and services
• Collaborate with Service Technicians on job sites
• Maintain showroom areas and assist customers in person
