Job summary

Community First Credit Union seeks a Branch Member Service Representative (MSR) to engage with members, open accounts, and process loan applications. You will interview members, present suitable products, and guide them through onboarding while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will handle account maintenance, perform teller duties as needed, and support outbound calls to grow member relationships. Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
• A high school degree or equivalent.
• A significant level of trust, credibility, and diplomacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Member Engagement: Open new products and services and verify identifications; process loan applications.
• Account Maintenance: Update personal information, add/remove joint members, and assist with Internet Banking enrollment.
• Teller Transactions: Perform teller transactions as required.
• Effective Interviews: Interview members to identify suitable products and services and present them clearly.
• Knowledge Development: Continuously learn to answer questions and resolve problems.
• Outbound Calls: Proactively onboard new members and foster relationships.
• Sales and Quality Goals: Consistently meet or exceed targets while maintaining quality.
• Compliance: Adhere to laws and regulations including BSA, Patriot Act, OFAC.
