Job summary

Arrow Financial Corporation is seeking a Branch Manager – Tier 2 or 3 for the Schroon Lake, NY area. The role oversees daily branch operations, delivers quality customer service, and leads the branch team to meet goals for accounts, loans, and business development.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 6 years in banking/financial services/retail, and 2 years supervisory experience. NMLS and Signature Guarantee certifications are preferred. Travel to branches is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 6 years of experience in banking, financial services, or retail sales required.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to achieve NMLS certification and Signature Guarantee certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and strengthen existing relationships through researched business development calls, networking, and response to referrals; actively seek cross-sell opportunities.
• Lead team through day-to-day operations; responsible for scheduling for one or more branches and assigned traveling staff; training; ensure employee and branch compliance with established policies and procedures
• Manage, coach and counsel staff to meet branch goals and achieve performance standards; encourage employee career development
• Analyze and compare department and individual staff performance to expectations and goals; make necessary adjustments to meet goals
• Achieve established lending goals as determined by Corporate Banking Manager based on department and company-wide budget goals.
• Oversee and adhere to requirements pertaining to branch security, fraud prevention, Bank Secrecy Act, and other government regulations
• Prepare and review documentation and reports for management in a timely manner. Make presentations to customers, potential customers, and community as appropriate.
• Participate in department and Company meetings as appropriate; regularly interact with Regional Board Members
• Participate actively in community service as designated by Company community service requirements
