Diverse Staffing is seeking a highly motivated Staffing Branch Manager | Operations, Recruiting & Workforce Management to lead our Jackson, MI branch. This leadership role is focused on operational excellence, recruiting execution, workforce management, customer service, and team development. The Branch Manager will be responsible for ensuring clients receive exceptional staffing support, maintaining high levels of employee and customer satisfaction, leading branch operations, and developing a high-performing internal team.

The ideal candidate is a proven staffing professional who excels at leading people, managing operations, driving workforce delivery, improving retention, and delivering outstanding service results.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Understand customer workforce challenges and deliver effective staffing solutions.
• Manage client expectations and proactively communicate staffing updates.
• Resolve service issues quickly and effectively while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Conduct client visits, service reviews, and workforce planning discussions.
• Partner with clients to improve retention, attendance, and workforce performance.

Branch Operations

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
• Manage payroll processes, invoicing activities, documentation accuracy, and operational procedures.
• Ensure all client, employee, and candidate interactions are accurately documented.
• Monitor branch performance metrics and prepare reports related to staffing delivery, fill rates, retention, employee engagement, and profitability.
• Maintain accountability for overall branch performance and operational excellence.
• Ensure branch processes support exceptional customer and employee experiences.

Recruitment & Talent Management

• Oversee recruiting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and employee placement activities.
• Ensure clients receive qualified talent in a timely manner.
• Lead branch recruiting efforts to meet fill-rate, retention, and service goals.
• Support onboarding, orientations, background checks, and compliance activities.
• Partner with recruiters and staffing coordinators to deliver exceptional service.
• Drive workforce planning efforts to meet customer demands and business objectives.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop branch team members.
• Foster a high-performance, service-focused branch culture.
• Conduct whiteboard meetings and daily operational planning.
• Hold team members accountable for performance standards and company expectations.
• Train and mentor employees on company processes, customer service, compliance, and recruiting best practices.
• Promote employee engagement, professional growth, and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of successful experience in staffing, recruiting, human resources, workforce solutions, operations management, or service-related industries.
• Leadership or branch management experience preferred.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and coaching skills.
• Experience managing client accounts in staffing, workforce solutions, or light industrial environments.
• Demonstrated success in improving fill rates, retention, service levels, operational performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and staffing software platforms.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Ability to travel local for client visits, employee support activities, and branch operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Staffing industry leadership experience.
• Experience with AI platforms and recruiting technology.
• PHR, SPHR, PMP, Six Sigma, or similar professional certifications.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
