Job summary

Leggett & Platt Inc. is seeking a Branch Manager in Morris, IL to lead a manufacturing and warehousing operation with full P&L responsibility. You will partner with Sales, ensure safety, drive profitability, and optimize staffing and production scheduling.

The role focuses on improving delivery performance and customer relationships. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of management experience in manufacturing or warehousing, strong communication skills, and a drive for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of manufacturing and/or warehousing management experience, including P&L.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Background in Continuous Improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Full P&L responsibility: Review income statement, analyze variances, and initiate plans to address problem areas.
• Partner with the Sales team to support and manage customer relationships
• Maintain a Safe Environment through company programs to protect our partners
• Manage operations: staffing levels, production scheduling, reduce scrap, improve quality, on-time delivery
• Oversee operations and collaborate with HR, Quality, Customer Service, Engineering, and Accounting
• Recruit, develop, and succession plan to improve retention
• Maintain quality service by upholding organization standards
• Ensure compliance with regulations
• Develop and implement productivity-improving procedures
• Foster a hands-on team environment
