Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a Branch Manager for our Alexandria, VA location. You will oversee branch sales, administration, and operations, driving budgeting, inventory control, profitability, and customer satisfaction while developing market growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate has a 4-year business degree and at least 4 years in electrical products distribution, with leadership experience, ERP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree with emphasis on business or equivalent experience.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical products and distribution with 4+ years in the field.
• Experience using Eclipse ERP is preferred.
• 2-3 years of supervisory or training experience.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch sales, administration and operations to meet budget and customer expectations.
• Grow market share through account management and proactive sales growth.
• Provide project leadership to sales staff to expand the customer base and margins.
• Oversee branch logistics, inventory, purchasing, shipping, receiving and warehousing.
• Maintain a safe, efficient working environment and promote team performance.
• Train and assign roles to staff to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
