Job summary

Lakeshore Landscaping, a PE-backed landscape maintenance platform serving the greater Minneapolis metro, seeks a Branch Manager to lead a 50+ person team. You will oversee daily operations, bid maintenance contracts, schedule field crews, and ensure safety, quality, and profitability while reporting to the Regional Manager.

You will manage resources, monitor budgets, train staff, visit sites, and drive service excellence across residential and commercial customers in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of landscaping management experience.
• Ability to read complex customer RFPs and commercial contracts to provide accurate bids.
• Proven leadership and people-management skills.
• History of delivering profitable landscaping projects that meet customer needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with technology (MS Office and landscaping costing/estimating packages).
• Understanding and management of Profit and Loss statements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations to achieve profit targets and high customer retention.
• Sell maintenance contracts and enhancement services to new and existing customers.
• Provide daily schedules to field staff and ensure crews are prepared and safe.
• Visit job sites regularly to ensure work meets safety standards and contracts.
• Use Aspire to manage scheduling, purchasing, and time reporting to meet profitability targets.
• Approve time entries and supervise attendance and equipment usage.
• Train and develop staff to meet goals for individuals and division.
• Forecast staff, equipment, and material needs for future jobs.
• Order materials and ensure purchasing within limits.
• Monitor costs and adjust plans to maximize end results.
• Maintain clean facilities and project a professional image.
