Clark Associates, Inc. – The Restaurant Store is seeking a Branch Manager Intern in Orlando, FL. This role provides day-to-day operations exposure in a retail branch, emphasizing customer service, sales, purchasing, and inventory alignment with company goals.

You will support the TRS process to build brand awareness, assess customer needs, exceed expectations, and foster loyalty while learning cashier operations, merchandising, inventory checks, and product knowledge of private label brands.

Responsibilities

• Conduct B2B sales and customer service with a focus on building relationships with customers.
• Execute the TRS process: build brand awareness, assess needs, exceed expectations, build loyalty.
• Handle basic cashier duties and loading products into customer vehicles.
• Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising, restock shelves and incoming stock.
• Analyze inventory to determine availability and re-order status.
• Promote our private label brands to maximize TRS gross profit.
• Educate customers on competitive advantages: best people, technology, and price.
• Understand our website and teach customers how to use the Brick and Click model.

Job Summary

The Branch Manager Intern with The Restaurant Store will gain a day-to-day operations perspective in a retail branch environment and become a contributor to a high level of customer service and satisfaction. The Branch Manager Intern will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective customer service strategies that align with the goals of our sales, purchasing, and inventory teams.

• Conduct business-to-business sales and customer service with a focus on building and developing relationship with our customer base
• Execute on our proven TRS process: 1) build brand awareness, 2) assess customer’s needs, 3) exceed expectations, and 4) build loyalty
• Perform basic cashier functions and loading products into customer vehicles
• Perform general store maintenance through cleaning and merchandising functions, while also restocking shelves and putting away incoming stock
• Analyze basic inventory information to determine product availability and re-order status
• Promote our private label brands to maximize TRS gross profit
• Educate prospective customers on our competitive advantages (best people, best technology, and best price)
• Possess and maintain a thorough understanding of our website and educate customers on how to best-utilize our “Brick and Click” business model
