We are seeking a Branch Manager to lead the daily operations and performance of an Amivie home care branch. This role is responsible for service quality, regulatory compliance, financial results, branch growth, and team development. The right leader brings sound judgment, operational discipline, and a genuine commitment to person-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day branch operations and ensure efficient, compliant, high-quality service delivery.
- Build, coach, and develop a collaborative team of branch employees and caregivers, with clear expectations and accountability.
- Oversee client admissions, onboarding, service coordination, and ongoing satisfaction while responding promptly to concerns.
- Monitor scheduling, staffing patterns, open shifts, call-offs, and service gaps to support continuity of care.
- Manage branch performance against budget, revenue, census, labor, and EBITDA goals, and act on performance gaps.
- Maintain readiness for audits and ensure accurate documentation, required training, incident follow-up, and compliance with state, federal, payer, licensing, HIPAA, and company requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, strengthen caregiver support, expand services, and improve profitability.
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, caregivers, referral sources, and community partners while representing Amivie professionally in the market.
What You Bring
- Strong knowledge of home care operations, client service delivery, and regulatory expectations.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching, team development, performance management, and accountability.
- Experience managing multiple operational priorities such as staffing, scheduling, compliance, client services, and financial performance.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and use sound professional judgment.
- Comfort using scheduling and documentation platforms, operational systems, and Microsoft Office or similar tools.
Qualifications
- Leadership experience in home care, healthcare, senior services, human services, or a related operational environment.
- Experience with budget accountability, revenue growth, labor management, and operational metrics.
- Knowledge of Minnesota home care or human services regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Human Services, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.
Minnesota Qualification Requirements
Candidates must meet at least one of the following pathways:
- A bachelor's degree in a human services-related field and at least one year of full-time direct care experience serving people with disabilities or adults age 65 and older.
- An associate degree in a human services-related field and at least two years of qualifying full-time direct care experience.
- A diploma in a human services-related field from an accredited postsecondary institution and at least three years of qualifying full-time direct care experience.
- At least 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities, plus at least four years of qualifying full-time direct care experience under the supervision of a staff member who meets one of the pathways above.
Work Environment and Schedule
This position works across office, branch, community, and client-service settings. Local travel is required. The schedule may vary based on branch needs, staffing issues, client concerns, and other time-sensitive operational demands, and may occasionally require availability outside standard business hours.
