Job summary

Michigan Schools & Government Credit Union is hiring a Branch Manager in Canton Township, MI. You will lead the retail branch, drive sales, delivery of member service, and operational excellence while ensuring regulatory compliance and a strong member experience.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in business/finance or related field, 4 years of retail banking experience, and 2 years of leadership. MSGCU offers competitive compensation and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field preferred.
• 4 years of related, progressively more responsible retail banking experience; and
• 2 years of leadership experience required; or
• Successful completion of MSGCU’s Branch Manager Trainee Program.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages assigned branch for sales and operations to ensure the financial objectives, strategic goals and institutional growth are met in accordance with MSGCU’s policies and state and federal government regulations, and in alignment with our desired member experience.
• Focuses on providing high quality service to all members through a consistent approach to delivering the member experience that includes sales, services, member satisfaction, operational, and people management to build strong member relationships.
• Exhibits business insight by applying knowledge and developing tactical plans, including strategies, targets, and staffing to meet objectives.
• Oversees the efficiency and performance of the branch budget, security, and adherence to policies to maintain high standards of operational efficiency and performance.
