Job summary

The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings, seeks a Branch Manager for our Indianapolis, IN location. This full-time role drives sales, leads staff, and ensures exceptional customer service while upholding the company’s image.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Regularly lift up to 25lbs.
• Be able to walk, stand, or lift the entire shift.
• Knowledge of PVF is a plus.
• Experience and knowledge of P21 a plus.
• Chauffeur's license is also a bonus.
• Industry experience is not required to be successful.

Responsibilities

• Review sales reports to determine progress and status in attaining objectives. Revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions to grow location’s revenues.
• Maintain and enhance vendor and customer relations. Upkeep of the company’s image with affiliates.
• Evaluates performance of employees within their branch by reviewing all hiring, salary and disciplinary decisions.
• Responsible for answering phones, taking orders from customers or giving status of previous order and giving customers quotes on material.
• Conflict resolution between employees and/or departments within branch.
