Job summary

Security Equipment Supply, Inc. (SES) is seeking a Branch Manager for the Grand Rapids, MI area. This full-time role oversees branch operations, sales, logistics, and staff development to meet company goals.

You will drive growth, mentor the sales team, manage inventory health, and collaborate with the corporate office on policies and reporting. SES emphasizes internal growth and flexibility with a hybrid-friendly culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant sales experience.
• 1 to 3 years of management experience preferred.
• Experience in low voltage industries specifically in fire and life safety, video surveillance, access control, and voice communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage all areas of branch operations, including sales, logistics, and policy implementation.
• Maintain SES customer service standards; report variances to the appropriate manager.
• Develop vendor & representative relations; coordinate trainings and go-to-market efforts.
• Drive branch growth by prospecting new customers and supporting the sales team.
• Oversee inventory health, reduce slow-moving stock, and monitor key KPIs.
• Achieve branch sales goals and mentor the sales team.
• Collaborate with HR for recruiting, onboarding, and staff development.
• Mentor the Assistant Branch Manager and ensure coverage in their absence.
• Maintain branch appearance, inventory, and reporting to corporate offices.
