Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Dillon, SC is seeking a Retail Branch Manager I to lead consumer and business relationships, drive branch sales, and strengthen community partnerships while delivering the Woodforest Experience.

The role requires proven sales or customer service experience, leadership ability, and a commitment to community involvement. You will recruit and mentor staff, grow deposits and loans, and ensure compliance and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience are acceptable alternatives.
• 1 year of experience leading and directing the activities of a sales team is required.
• Previous instore banking experience is preferred, but not required.
• Positive and engaging personality; community-resident candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve branch sales and revenue goals by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending banking products and services to customers.
• Recruit, train, retain and motivate staff to ensure profitability, sales, customer experience, compliance, and growth objectives for the branch.
• Develop and lead innovative strategies to grow, retain and deepen consumer and business relationships.
• Proactively grow business deposits and loans through inside and outside business calling.
• Enhance customer experience and the reputation of the Bank by greeting, engaging, and developing relationships with retail partners and customers.
• Lead and execute a community engagement strategy with a Community Development Relationship Manager.
