Job summary

Lawrence & Hanson is seeking a commercially minded Branch Manager to lead a busy electrical wholesale branch. You will drive sales growth, deliver outstanding service and foster a positive team culture.

Develop and implement a branch business plan, manage inventory, service standards, safety, and P&L. Build relationships with contractors, trades and suppliers while coaching a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer experiences daily.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical wholesale, trade sales, industrial supply, sales management or a similar customer-facing sales environment.
• Strong understanding of trade customers and ability to build trust through service, reliability and product knowledge.
• Commercially focused, self-driven; comfortable managing sales, operations and branch performance.
• Electrical product knowledge is highly regarded, with strong trade wholesale experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a branch business plan to drive sales, margin and sustainable growth.
• Manage branch operations, including inventory, service standards, safety, compliance and P&L accountability.
• Grow the customer base through proactive trade sales, account management and excellent counter service.
• Lead, coach and motivate branch staff to create a strong, supportive and performance-focused culture.
• Partner with suppliers to ensure customers have access to the right products, advice and solutions.
