Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring a Branch Manager for the Alexandria, VA location. You will lead branch sales, administration and operations, drive market growth, and ensure efficient inventory and logistics management.

Qualifications

4-year college degree with an emphasis on business or equivalent experience.
Extensive knowledge of electrical products and distribution industry with 4+ years in the field.
Experience working in Eclipse ERP is preferred.
2-3 years supervisory/training experience.
Proven leadership and organization skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Reliable, responsible work ethic.

Responsibilities

Anticipate, meet, and exceed customer needs and expectations with urgency.
Grow market share through selling skills and account management.
Provide leadership to projects and sales staff to increase sales and margins.
Oversee branch administration and management activities.
Manage cross dock logistics to ensure accurate daily material flow.
Control branch inventories through purchasing, shipping, receiving, and stocking.
Promote a safe work environment and report hazards.
