Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience plus 5 years of banking or retail experience, including 3 years of supervision.
• Preference for sales or sales management experience in financial institutions or related industries.
• Ability to travel to cover other branches and work beyond normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain effective branch operations including timely opening/closing and adequate staffing.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and controls for safety and security of assets.
• Oversee facilities and equipment, enforce safety practices and security procedures.
• Manage lending function: conduct loan interviews, process, approve and/or close loans.
• Lead staff development, performance management and training; conduct hiring and reviews.
• Develop and implement plans to meet performance goals and branch strategic initiatives.
• Represent Self-Help in community development activities and partnerships.
