Job summary

Citizens Independent Bank seeks a Branch Manager to lead and coach the Hopkins branch, driving sales, customer experience, and daily operations. The role includes developing business plans, leveraging local partnerships, and expanding deposit and loan growth in the market.

Ideal candidates have retail banking experience, a track record in cross-selling, and the ability to obtain an NMLS license. The position offers an incentive plan and a strong community involvement culture in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five years retail banking experience preferred
• Strong sales coaching skills
• Willingness to become involved with and participate in community events
• Ability to work well with business partners within the organization
• Strong knowledge of bank operation policies and procedures
• Proven ability to sell and cross-sell bank products and services
• Proven ability to develop new business
• Position requires ability to have or obtain a NMLS License
• Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities of the business development for the branch meeting goals related to deposit and consumer loan growth.
• Annually assess the market served by the branch, identifying obstacles and opportunities.
• Maintain high visibility and a positive image with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify customers' financial needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Provide personal banking services to customers, including selling deposit products, checking, savings and CDs.
• Make appropriate partner referrals for investment services and mortgages.
• As product manager for the branch, lead sales campaigns with the Marketing Department.
• Train and support branch staff on products and computer applications.
• Recruit, interview, select and train Universal Bankers and Tellers.
• Oversee day-to-day operations including opening/closing and Saturday coverage.
